TikTok Shop's commission structure is simpler than Amazon's category-based system — usually a flat percentage regardless of category, though rates have shifted as the platform matures. If you're running affiliate/creator partnerships, factor that commission in separately since it's on top of the platform fee.
Worked Example
Example: $25 item, platform commission 8%, creator affiliate commission 10%. Platform fee = $2.00. Creator commission = $2.50. If COGS is $7, net profit = $25 − $7 − $2.00 − $2.50 = $13.50.
