Free eBay Fee Calculator

Find your final value fee and net profit on an eBay sale.

Unlike Amazon, eBay's final value fee applies to the total amount the buyer pays, including the shipping you charge them — not just the item price. That's a common surprise for sellers who set shipping charges high assuming it's fee-free.

Worked Example

Example: Item sells for $40 + $6 shipping charged to buyer, category fee 13%. Final value fee = ($40+$6) × 13% = $5.98. If COGS is $15, net profit = $40 + $6 − $15 − $6 (your actual shipping cost) − $5.98 = $9.02.

Formula

Final Value Fee = (Item Price + Shipping Charged) × Category Fee %
Net Profit = Item Price + Shipping Charged − COGS − Actual Shipping Cost − Final Value Fee
