Free Amazon FBA Calculator

Estimate your true net profit per unit after Amazon's referral fee, FBA fulfillment fee, and storage cost.

Most new FBA sellers price using just product cost and sale price, then get surprised by their actual margin once Amazon's cut is subtracted. This calculator adds all three major FBA fee types — referral fee (category-based %), FBA fulfillment fee (size/weight-tier based), and a prorated monthly storage cost — so the profit number you see here is much closer to what actually lands in your payout.

Worked Example

Example: You sell a kitchen gadget for $24.99, it costs you $6.00 to manufacture/source, and it ships in a small standard-size box. Referral fee (Home & Kitchen, 15%) = $3.75. FBA fulfillment fee (small standard tier) ≈ $3.22. Storage (0.05 cubic ft, non-peak) ≈ $0.04/month. Net profit ≈ $24.99 − $6.00 − $3.75 − $3.22 − $0.04 = $11.98, a margin of about 48%.

Formula

Net Profit = Sale Price − Product Cost − Referral Fee − FBA Fulfillment Fee − Storage Fee
Referral Fee = max(Sale Price × Category %, $0.30 minimum)
Margin % = Net Profit / Sale Price × 100

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these the exact current Amazon fees?
They're representative approximations of Amazon's published fee structure. Amazon updates rates periodically (often annually and around peak season) — verify current rates in Seller Central before finalizing pricing.
Does this include advertising (PPC) cost?
No — this is your baseline profit before ad spend. See our Amazon PPC/ACoS Calculator to layer in advertising cost.
What counts toward "cubic feet" for storage?
The physical volume of your product's shipped package, used by Amazon to calculate monthly storage fees per cubic foot.
